Troy Patio and Gazebo Landscaping Project

Thank you for coming to read our newest article. In this short read, we will be taking you through the incredible stages of creating a beautiful outdoor living space in Troy Michigan. We built a paver patio, gazebo, stairs, a small firepit area, and hot tub space!

Patio Install

We began the project by removing an old flagstone that was in the way. The design for this project was to be a roughly 800-square-foot rectangular patio. In addition to the patio the homeowner also wanted a gazebo and a space for a hot tub.

This project took roughly 2 1/2 weeks to complete. The gazebo installation took about three days and the paving/preparation work took the majority of the time of the project. We decided to use our famous Beacon Hill smooth pavers. For our border, we use our 4X8 pavers to accent the gray colorways.

One interesting aspect that we always note to our homeowners is that this colorway matches and fits every home. In this case, we have a yellow home, this is not common at all and it still looks great! As for the gazebo, this is a 12 X 12 size gazebo. It comes with a light switch for controlling the fan and we decided to use a black fan in this case, the homeowners felt it looks best.

Overall this was a very simple project for us however I made a huge difference to the homeowner’s lives. Prior to our installation, they did not have an area outside to enjoy, and now they have an outdoor living space that they can enjoy and they just had quite the party with their in-laws!
