Beacon Hill Patio in Northville
Another week, another article. In this quick read we’re showcasing a stylish Beacon Hill brick patio we just completed. This patio is equipped with a top of the line Granite Beacon Hill brick paver, U-Cara Modular Step, and Natural Stone Firepit.

Design and Build
This brick patio project started with an old deck. The wooden deck was in poor condition and was no longer serving a purpose. We were hired to remove the deck then design and build a brand new patio.
Below are pictures of the deck and the 3-D design we used to help our customer envision their new outdoor space. Our designs solidified that our homeowners are on the same page as us and end up very satisfied.
Part 1: Deck Demolition
The demolition of the old deck took roughly 1 day!
Part 2: Building Brick Patio Base
After demolition, the next phase of the project was to begin excavating the base. We used an 8” base and 12” on the furthest side of the patio to support a hot tub. This is going to be an awesome space in the Spring!
Part 3: Laying Brick Pavers
We used Unilock Beacon Hill Smooth in Granite. This is a larger grey brick with orange accents. This outdoor space also features a circular seating space to stay warm around the fire. It’s going to be perfect in the summer.

Part 4: Patio Finished!
Now it’s time to enjoy! This is a special space and there’s more coming. Our homeowners are adding a hot tub, outdoor tv and pavilion! This is going be the spot for the summer 🙂
